I am a HUGE water drinker and it’s something I push my challengers to focus on....but I’ve been slacking. .

This tiny human I’m growing doesn’t like the water at my house 🙄 ( #princess ) so I have been having a hard time getting it all down. .

Going from 3 liters of water a day to barely choking down 1 has been annoying, so I finally asked my amazing husband to grab me a HUGE water for me. .

I didn’t expect fancy water but I’m so excited that I’m enjoying it today! .

🍊💪Some struggle with both 🤸‍♀️Some never gain an ounce of fat or muscle and have a hard time seeing the scale change

But one thing we all have in common is when we hit rock bottom! .
My rock bottom was about 15 years ago. I was 30 pounds heavier than I am right now. Had quit playing ringette and fastball, maybe cause I was super busy....OR maybe its cause I stopped caring about my body.🧘‍♀️🧘‍♀️

I remember riding my bike down the street when two kids passed me. They both called me some sort of "fat" name that I can't remeber right now and said look out! Like I was gonna run into them with my big body🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️

So ya, I know what that feels like. I've been there. And that day I decided to make a change in my health. At first it was cause I didn't want to be made fun of anymore but it ended up growing into me wanting to love myself more❤❤ I wasn't happy and only found joy in eating. .
Now a days my eating habits are WAY better than what they were before, but can always use some improvement. 🍊🍊So I'm continuing to grow and improve my body and my mind and can't wait to see how this all goes!!! .

HIIT circuits are amazing. The are big fat burners and time savers. Here are 2️⃣ exercises I used in my HIIT class. . .
Each Exercise ( one circuit is made of 4 exercises) 30 secs/ REST 30 seconds between rounds X 3 ( include these with two other exercises of your choice)
1️⃣Squat to tuck jump . I SLOWED it down for the video but when doing the circuit pick up the speed .
2️⃣ Single Leg Push Up. Try to stay on your toes
And do as many full reps as possible ( elbows 90 degrees) .

Yoga is NOT my passion. But I do it. I do it for numerous spiritual and personal reasons because I value it and sometimes I even love it.😊 See my passion is in constant movement. Either running or bike riding or lifting I want to feel my muscles burn and my lungs tap out. I like to physically exhaust my body that it can't think anymore. Yoga challenges me to intentionally remove my thought while moving my body slowly and challenging me in every position. Like this one. 🐻Teddy bear pose has always been a challenge to hold but today I worked on it and held it a few times through breathing and relaxation. I got it!!! Calming myself to play and it happened!! Even when something isn't your passion, either it's yoga or cooking, you can learn to enjoy it. Life is way more fun when we are enjoying it! .

Im for sure more of a sweets person vs salty. chips have never been a trigger for me, but every once in awhile I do crave them. Found a big variety pack of individual serving bags of these for like 2.99 I think? It had a mixture of cheddar, ranch, and bbq. Best part is they're only 80 calories PER BAG. No guilt .

day one or one day?
the last time I did a program I was growing a human! I’m so excited to be back at it and even though I’m proud of the things my body has done, I have such a long way to go to feel comfortable again. It’s not easy to have any time to devote to myself while being a mom to a 4 month old but everyone has 20 minutes from the comfort of their own home to better themselves✨
Being healthy is not a destination you arrive at. It’s not a goal you check off the list. It’s not a sprint to the finish and then it’s over. It is your LIFE. And you’ve only got one. So why spend it miserable wishing things were different but then doing nothing to actually change it?
I know it’s tempting to want the quick fix. To wear the waist trainer or shun the carbs or take the pill or drink the tea that makes you 💩 yourself and VOILA, you’ve got the perfect body you’ve always dreamed of. But your results are only going to last as long as you’re willing to work for them. Anything that promises an overnight fix isn’t going to last or be healthy and realistic for you long term. C’mon, this isn’t rocket science and you’re smarter than that.

So while I know it’s not the sexiest advice, here’s the secret: drink your water, eat your veggies, move your body, get some sleep. And then be patient AF while you repeat that over and over again. I know it seems like a mountain to climb at first but you start one day at a time and little by little, it adds up.

I DID IT! 🎉🎉

After TEN DAYS of not working out (vacation vibes), and putting back on 6 pounds (cruise food probs), I am BACK BABY!!! It felt so stinkin’ good to be back at it and back to my routine of things! The kids I babysit are on spring break and don’t need me this week so I slept in til about 8:30 and then I got to it!!! Now, don’t get me wrong... this workout was WAYYYYY harder than I thought it would be, but I am just so flippin’ excited and happy and pumped and all the good feels that I pushed through and am working out again!
