We’re liking the Valentines theme because it is so relevant. Valentine’s is a day (practical month) that triggers so many people to feel unworthy if they’re not getting spoiled or have someone to call their own, lol. Then came Galentines day which we fully embrace and always have had Galentines dates, ‘back in the day’ w/ @klo211212 @phillipcaple and many others.
But the deal is truly about loving yourself, day in and day out. If we are what we eat and we eat 3-5 or 6 times a day plus beverages, we have nearly 10 or so opportunities to literally feed ourselves love Every.Single.Day. 💕 🎉
Some 💡 of specific foods:
For breakfast: 🍳🍇🍵
For lunch: 🥗🧀
For dinner: 🍱🥦🥑 🍷or 🍺 or 🍶as desired in moderation
For snack: 🍓🍒🍍🥜

‘Food as love’ Is not a commonly discussed element of food - however it impacts us all!! So we want to have a dialogue about choosing selectively about what we feed ourselves (and choose for medicine too). ———
Seriously though, I tell clients that if they are going to indulge in a piece of chocolate cake, it’s OKAY! So long as you enjoy each and every bite, chew, morsel, etc. However, If eating the cake triggers guilt or other “lower” emotions, DON’T eat it. Aligning your thoughts and actions around food is the key.
More could be said & inquired about the process and procurement of ingredients... where were the ingredients grown and were they handled or processed with love? This is a bigger topic than an IG post can properly address, but think about it. ————
