Growing up, the sound of bombs exploding, the constant fear of just the sound of a motorbike with two guys on it -followed by gunfires-, made me cringe. Life was a bargain, an everyday lottery, where your loved ones could or could not make it to the end of the day. We lost many, many loved ones. We lost them as they had an ice cream inside a mall, as they walked by a park, as they had a beer with friends, or as they danced to music. We lost many stories that remain untold, many potential successful and caring human beings, many kind souls this world could have used for better purposes. We lost, and lost, and lost. And the only one getting more and more was the despicable one in this portrait.
People, beloved people, please understand #PabloEscobar
WAS NOT AND WILL NEVER BE A HERO. He represents no pride, he is nothing but a monster, and always was one. He does not represent Medellín or Colombia, he does not represent any Colombian or anyone born in Medellín. You have no clue about the immense damage he executed. You have no idea how many murders, inflicted terror and violence this man caused. You have absolutely no idea. Which is why, we say ESCOBAR NO MORE. No more worshiping a drug dealer, a terrorist, an assassin, a manipulator, a mass murderer, a player, a liar, a scum. No more, please no more about this so-called #patron
No more Narcotours in Medellín: the building where he lived is now gone. His stories are disappearing, his presence will vanish, because we need no more of this.
For the love and respect to victims, whose lives were taken by this person, we say #EscobarNoMore
