Dallas mayor declares ‘Small Small business Saturday’ holiday break, organization homeowners thankful for recognition

DALLAS — Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson officially proclaimed Nov. 28, 2020 as “Small Business enterprise Saturday.”

Dallas company proprietors say they are grateful for the consciousness immediately after what is been a challenging few of months.

Lauren Ermish and her fiancé offer puppy treats, meals, toys, leashes, and other materials at their enterprise, Uptown Pup in Uptown Dallas.
They opened in Oct 2019, just several months right before the pandemic hit.
“It’s challenging, for the reason that we want to do a lot more occasions,” Ermish stated. “We want to established up tables and that’s really how we can produce far more business. But it puts us far more at danger as company owners, because we don’t want to get ill and have to near for two weeks.”
Uptown Pup had to scale back its several hours for a number of months. But Ermish stated they went all out for Smaller Small business Saturday, participating in the holiday getaway for the initially time.
