LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – Friday Governor Whitmer introduced the U.S. Tiny Business Administration (SBA) will be building financial loans of up to $2 million available to eligible tiny enterprises.

The financial loans are intended for tiny companies, agricultural cooperatives, and nonprofits impacted by frost and freeze that occurred in Could of 2020. They will be readily available in Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Crawford, Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Kalkaska, Manistee, Missaukee, Otsego and Wexford counties.

“This is great information for our tiny corporations and farmers who have routinely confronted extraordinary climate ailments in our condition,” explained Governor Whitmer. “I’m glad the federal govt has acknowledged the need for this assist, and I am keen to carry on working with them to even further assist Michigan companies.”
