NEWCOMERSTOWN — Newcomerstown Now!
That is the identify of a new community progress team that has been arranged to support build up the downtown spot and revitalize the Newcomerstown business enterprise neighborhood.
Newcomerstown Now is made up of a Board of Administrators and committees, fully commited to the revitalization of Major Road. The group has been performing with the statewide firm Heritage Ohio.
Officers said, “We embrace the Major Road method promoting Newcomerstown as a hometown neighborhood and a Most important Avenue that is a very important portion of our village.
“We will be subsequent the Main Street concepts that have been effective through Ohio and the nation. The ideas are as follows.
“Organization — We inspire the cooperation of our downtown corporations with the group as they are crucial to the expansion and achievement of our Primary Avenue.
“Promotion — We are marketing Primary Avenue as a spot to shop, stop by and devote excellent time in our community.
“Design — Our aim is to maintain and protect our background whilst strengthening the visual appeal of our downtown.
“Economic Vitality — We committed to strengthening Principal Road in a way that provides a lot more individuals into the place that will maximize the vitality of the group.”
Group officers explained Newcomerstown Now’s emphasis is on the potential of the downtown and to “bring forth a vibrant group that is ahead of us.”
Newcomerstown Now is planning a collection of Next Saturday activities this summertime, beginning with a block occasion on Saturday, June 11, from 5-8 p.m. in the Primary Avenue place.
The party will consist of songs by Sean Carney from 6-8 p.m., a beer/wine back garden, rooster dinners, little ones routines and distributors.

Mayor Pat Cadle thanked volunteers from Kurz-Kasch in Newcomerstown for assisting paint the pool at Cy Young Park.
This is the second year that volunteers from Kurz-Kasch have painted the pool, which is scheduled to open on May well 28.
