


Thanks to major rainfall on the Shivalik hills, mountain particles fell on the Delhi-Dehradun National Highway in Saharanpur district, disrupting vehicular targeted visitors for hours , law enforcement said on Saturday.


The particles fell in the middle of the street on the freeway involving Dat Kali Mandir and Mohand owing to which automobiles had to be stopped on each sides and very long queues of automobiles were fashioned, Saharanpur Superintendent of Law enforcement (City) Rajesh Kumar advised PTI.

Police of Biharigarh law enforcement station and that of Mohand outpost organized the targeted visitors and JCB machines have been deployed to apparent the street for restoring the motion of motor vehicles following hours, the SP mentioned.


Extra District Magistrate (Finance) Rajneesh Kumar Singh mentioned thanks to heavy rains on Shivalik hills for various days, rainy rivers in the Ghad region and its bordering places are in spate.


Referring to the facts gained on social media, the ADM stated that the connectivity of dozens of villages slipping in the Ghad location has been lower off from the district and tehsil headquarters.


He appealed to the general community not to cross the wet rivers by risking their life and to call the command area of the District Catastrophe Administration Authority for relief and rescue in scenario of emergency.
