National Women’s Enterprise Council Releases 2020 Roundtable Report

1 min read

The subsequent two digital roundtables bundled business owners and specialists from all over the place to discover prevailing difficulties. The Rural Women’s Entrepreneurship Subcommittee hosted a conversation on childcare affordability and availability, precisely impediments to business profitability and the affect of childcare shortages on a beleaguered workforce navigating the pandemic. The Girls in STEM Subcommittee led a dialogue on women’s participation in patenting and trademark and remaining boundaries to enter and start new ventures in these industries.

The responses obtained through these roundtables served as the basis for the Council’s Fiscal Calendar year 2020 plan suggestions to the White Dwelling, Congress, and the Small Organization Administration.

“During this unprecedented time, we will have to recommit to empowering our nation’s feminine founders and celebrating their irreplaceable purpose in the economy. We urge lawmakers to cautiously take into account the stories in this report and use important takeaways to establish audio, powerful public coverage pertaining to women’s business company,” stated Chair Liz Sara.
